How does the process for onboarding international clients/issuing international cards differ from domestic clients?

The onboarding process for international versus domestic depends on the Marqeta entity you are contracting with. If you are contracted with our UK entity you will receive a delivery team member to assist with your Powered By Marqeta integration efforts until you are ready to launch your product regardless of the issuing country. You will be responsible for BIN and banking partnerships. For the US for domestic and Canadian card programs, an Onboarding Project Manager and Technical Implementation Manager will be assigned to guide you through the Powered By or Managed By Marqeta integration. For International programs you will receive an Implementation Project Manager to guide you through the Powered By integration while you are responsible for BIN and banking partnerships.
